Inner Mongolian Dissident Hada Detained after Prison Term

Advocating "self-determination of Southern Mongolia",

Hada was accused of conspiracy to subvert the state

and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Two months after finishing his prison term,

his family of three were missing.

Hada and family』s interview clips recently appeared online.

Hada is currently being detained by the authorities.

On Feb. 21, an interview of Hada and

his family members appeared on Youtube.

The interview was conducted in Mongolian language.

He said it was the 1st time in 15 years that

he could reunite with his loved ones at the New Year.

He hoped to improve his health, once he is at home.

He implied that he is still detained and cannot go home.

This greatly concerns Chinese dissidents

and Mongolian human rights activists.

According to RFA, Khuvisgalt, Secretary-General of

Inner Mongolia People's Party in Japan, believes

the clip to be Chinese authorities』 propaganda.

However, it revealed that Hada is still being detained.

He believes that they are threatened by the authorities.

They expressed their support for the CCP leaders,

because they hoped to be freed as early as possible.

Khuvisgalt: It meant to show the public that

Hada was able to reunite with his family at the New Year.

He is detained in a hotel in Inner Mongolian military district.

It is the same location as his 1st photos that were published.

It is reported that all 3 members of Hada』s family

appeared to be rigid, without any festive joy.

In Dec. 2010, there were photos online about

Hada』s reunion with wife Xinna and son Uiles.

The date shown on the photos was Dec. 10, 2010,

the day of Hada』s release from prison.

The name of the person that uploaded this clip

is said to have been used by a CCP』s agent before.

The U.S. based Southern Mongolian Human Rights

Info Center said, the Hada in the video looked older.

His glasses revealed his declining eyesight.

His wife Xinna also said in the interview that

the authorities had discussion with her.

The contents are unknown, as the clip was edited.

Analysts believe, following the video clips of the house

arrested blind rights lawyer Chen Guangcheng and

Nobel Peace Prize winner Liu Xiaobo's wife Liu Xia,

Hada』s interview video was also put online.

This may be CCP』s way of distracting people』s attention

from the "Jasmine Revolution."

Hada, 55, in 1992, participated in the founding of

Southern Mongolian Democratic Alliance and

advocated "self-determination of Southern Mongolia."

He has been known as an "Eagle on the Prairie."

On Dec. 10, 1996, he was sentenced to a 15-year

jail for “conspiracy to subvert the state, secession and

organization of counter-revolutionary groups”.

He is a dissident served the longest term at one session.

Human rights organization Amnesty International

urges the CCP regime to release Hada and his family.
