Superstar Jeremy Lin Plays Low Key

Jeremy Lin, the New York Knicks star, is still the focus of

attention at the All-Star weekend in Orlando, FL.

The over night star continues to keep a low profile, focus on

basketball, and has turned down many endorsements.

Before the NBA All-Star weekend game, there was a

Jeremy Lin press conference.

In the past, only NBA commissioner David Stern had

this treatment.

A Wall Street Journal article pointed out that while the U.S. tries

to improve its economy by reducing the trade deficit,

the Linsanity phenomenon has promoted the sports market and

helped to cut down the trade deficit.

The number 17 Knicks jersey has become the best selling

product of NBA, and Jeremy Lin is the focus of global sporting goods.

In the face of name and fame, Jeremy Lin is wide awake.

He knows his popularity is sudden, but maybe one day he won't be, and the higher he goes, the harder the fall.

Jeremy Lin's agent, Roger Montgomery, says Lin received

over 1,000 emails from companies interested in working out an endorsement deal with him,

including companies from the U.S., Asia and China. However,

Lin won't strike a deal so easily and “he's not looking for quick money.”

According to the New York Post, Jeremy Lin has turned down

offers potentially worth “millions of dollars” from a wireless phone company as well as a watchmaker.

Lan Su of Sound of Hope Radio indicates Jeremy Lin has

provided not only commercial value to the NBA, but also freshness to professional basketball.

Lan Su: "With his firm belief, Jeremy Lin distinguishes

himself from other sports stars blinded by commercial greed.

He』s able to think of others and has brought to professional

basketball more than just ticket sales.

He brings back belief, a belief through which he was able to

find his own value in life, a truly profound and touching story."

Prior to the All-Star game, the NBA made an exception and

granted Jeremy Lin a solo interview.

In the interview, Jeremy agreed that his heritage is one of the

reasons why he was undervalued. However, he's still proud of being Asian American.

Lan Su indicates that the traditional Chinese culture emphasizes

the divine, and pays little attention to either fame or profit.

However, the Chinese Communists have labeled the traditional

Chinese culture with “four olds” and completely ruined it.

Lan Su: "In mainland China, it is difficult to find a person

like Jeremy Lin who would still hold an appreciation for faith,

the success faith has brought him, and giving back to society

according to the values taught by his faith.

Look at all the celebrities in China, they have all been cocky."

Lan Su indicates that many believe the U.S. relies on

democracy and law.

In fact, it is the profound belief of the people that has provided

the healthy development of democracy and law in the United States.

When Chinese athletes win, they are always first thankful

to the CCP and the country.

Canadian basketball coach Ju Bin explains that the coaches in

China are anxious about instant success, without respect for human dignity;

they instruct players with rebuke and humiliation.

The entire country is in a pseudo-empty state.

It is not possible to raise a talent like Jeremy Lin in China.

Ju Bin: "The invention of basketball is for everyone to enjoy,

not for insults.

In the cognitive aspects of basketball, Chinese are playing basketball,

Americans are playing basketball, but with a profound difference.

Talk about pride, when the flag is rising, the Chinese are excited

and they cry. That seems real, but I don't think so. It's all fake."

Ju Bin said that in the 39th World Table Tennis Championships,

the team coach arranged player He Zhili to lose the match

in order to allow other athletes to take the world championship.

Disobeying the coach, He Zhili took the women's singles.

The returning He Zhili was kicked off the team.
