Netizen: Two Sessions Became Absurd Shows

The deputies to the two sessions of the Chinese Communist

Party (CCP) put on jaw-dropping shows over past few days.

The representatives talks and behavior stunned foreign

media reporters as well as Chinese netizens.

Online comments say that the sessions should have been

held very seriously, but were performed as absurd dramas.

'Joke of the Year'of the two sessions was voted

by Chinese netizens.

It was given to Li Xiaolin, daughter of Li Peng,

former CCP Premier.

Li Xiaolin was the President of China Power International

Development Limited.

Li said, "I think we should create a moral file for each citizen,

so as to restrain all, for every one should 'have shame awareness'".

Legal scholars refuted Li's proposal that it is the citizen who

should make moral judgment about the official.

A netizen criticized, "The most shameless are

the electric power sector, the state-owned enterprise CEOs and the official 2nd-generation!”

Li unveiled the opening of absurd dramas, who did not

mention the electric power's monopoly.

Instead, she proposed creating citizen moral files.

The hit of the absurd show was put on by Liu Chunmei,

head of Music and Dance Troupe of Jilin Province.

On the morning of March 5, Liu spontaneously sang a love

song outside the east entrance to Great Hall of the People.

While singing, Liu was also rotating her body.

The news was reported in high-profile by China media,

attracting waves of condemnation.

An online posting said, "the two sessions became

a monkey-trick show."

A netizen sneered, "I'm very skillful at singing love songs,

that really has no need to be represented by others."

The odd news about the CCP's two sessions falls

on the head of 83-year-old Shen Jilan.

Shen, being a representative for 55 years, and who has

never vetoed, said:

"I have an ideal, someone should control the internet,

shouldn't let people freely use it."

Shen asked, "Can this internet service be offered to anybody

who wants? Or should it require the Party's approval?"

Officially touted as a farmer, Shen was later exposed as

owning trade and real estate companies in Shan Xi province.

Deceived netizens rebuked; "Who can be represented

by a liar deputy?"

Wang Lijun, whose whereabouts is are unknown was

another part of " theater of the absurd " of the two sessions.
