Summer temperatures continue to rise in the plains of India. To beat the heat, thousands set off to spend time in places like the town of Manali in India's northern Himachal Pradesh state.

夏日的溫度在印度平原持續上升。為了對抗炎熱，數千人動身前往印馬納里北部的Himachal Pradesh城裡度假。

Here the cool weather and calm atmosphere act like a magnet attracting tourists to the area.

這裡的涼爽天氣，平靜的氣氛，就像磁鐵般地吸引觀光客到此。

[Shivani, Tourist from Punjab]:

"It is a nice place for holidays and atmosphere is also too good rather than compared to other states and other countries."

來自旁遮普的觀光客Shivani說：

Every day during the month of June, more than 35,000 tourists visit Manali.

六月裡，每一天都有超過35,000名觀光客來到馬納里。

On weekends, as many as 50,000 tourists flock here.

每個週末，多達5萬名觀光客聚集於此。

Manali is a place where tourists can enjoy snow, winter sports like skiing, mountain biking, snow scooter riding, paragliding, white water rafting and other adventure sports.

馬納里是觀光客可以享受雪、冬季運動如滑雪、山中健騎、雪上機車、高崖跳傘運動、激流泛舟、以及其他冒險的運動的地方。
