The World Expo in Shanghai will be coming to a close in less than two weeks, but a group of former investors from Hong Kong won’t be able to make it. They say mainland Chinese authorities are stopping them from visiting the Expo.

上海世博會已進入閉幕前二週，但是ㄧ群來自香港的前投資者卻不得而入。他們說中國大陸當局禁止他們參觀世博。

Seven members of the Concern Group for Rights of Hong Kong Investors tried to attend the expo last week. The group is a locally based advocate for investors victimized in China, many of whom have lost fortunes after being deceived there.

七名來自香港投資人權利關懷團體的成員上週試著參加世博。這是一個香港當地為在中國投資受害者代言的團體，他們其中許多人已經在中國受騙後失去他們的財富。

Lu Weiping, from the Concern Group says as the members departed from different locations on their way to Shanghai, Chinese police intercepted all but one of them.

來自關懷團體的盧唯平（音譯）表示，成員們從各地來到上海 ，除了其中一人外，警方攔截了所有成員。

“The police told one of our members that they have 3000 policemen watching our group, and that they know exactly which flight or train our members are taking. Indeed, they were intercepted at the airport, halfway during the train ride, and also at the Shanghai Railway Station.”

盧唯平說：「警察告訴我們其中一名成員，他們有3,000位警察在監視我們，他們對我們撘乘哪一班飛機或火車掌握的一清二楚。他們真的就在機場、火車行進的途中以及上海火車站攔截我們。」

The only person to make it to the Expo was a new member of the Concern Group, Lu Weipei.

唯一成功進入世博的是關懷團體的新成員盧為平。

“He wore our Concern Group’s t-shirt and was very excited. He yelled that he’s made it to the Expo and was left alone while he was there. He was surrounded by a number of people, whom he said looked like plain-clothes police.”

盧為平說：「他穿著我們關懷團體的T桖，而且非常興奮，他大叫著他進入世博了，而且一個人單獨在那兒。然後他被ㄧ群看起來像是便衣警察的人包圍住。」

When the Shanghai Expo opened in May, a dozen members from the Concern Group tried to visit. But they were rounded up by police, roughened up and deported back to Hong Kong.

當上海世博在五月份開幕時，ㄧ群來自關懷團體的成員試著進入。但是他們被警察圍住了，強制將他們遣送回香港。

“They claim nicely that the World Expo belongs to everyone, and belongs to the world. What right do Shanghai authorities have to stop us from going? We cannot understand it to this day.”

盧為平說：“成員們很和善地宣稱，世博屬於每一個人，屬於全世界。上海當局有何權力阻止我們前往？我們到今天還無法理解。”

Lu Weiping says the group will try to organize more trips to the Expo, and expose how Hong Kong investors were victimized in China.

盧為平表示，關懷團體將再試著安排更多的行程前進世博，並且向世人曝光香港投資者如何在中國受害。
