At the 22nd anniversary of June 4 massacre,

many commemorations are held worldwide,

as the Beijing tightens up its suppression of dissidents.

human rights and redress the Tiananmen massacre.

and plain clothes surrounded the Tiananmen Square.

Tourists were subject to tight security check and

questioning before entering Tiananmen Square.

for commemorating “6.4” on Tiananmen Square, and

Some “Tiananmen Mothers” conflicted with many

his troop to Beijing, disappeared for 22 years and

re-appeared in public earlier this year,

The sensitive words like “1989”, “6.4” are censored.

No. 4 『Jasmine』 walking notice was released on June 4.

A balloon reading “Down with CCP, Up Stand People”

appeared in the sky of Chengdu, Sichuan.

Some dissidents launched hunger strike or dressed

in white to mourn for the anniversary.

They included Zhou Duo, Sun Wenguan, and Qin Yongmin.

Qin Yongmin, jailed for 22 years, was released last year.

Twenty policemen were around his house on June 4.

Qin: “I think China is at a new turning point today.

22 years ago, the CCP』s nature was completely exposed.

Today, the regime is facing historical judgment.”

to release the victim list of June 4 massacre, stop harassing

demonstrators and victim families, protect human rights,

urged Beijing to disclose the whereabouts of Gao Zhisheng.

Taiwan President Ma Ying-jeou made a public statement

criticizing the delay in the vindication of 『6.4』 incident,

calling China for political reform and releasing Ai Weiwei.

The former Tiananmen leader, Wang Dan said:

“President Ma』s statement this year took a stronger

tone than in the past. Wang hopes President Ma to

put his words into action during the CCP-KMT exchange.”

On the 6.4 evening, candlelight vigil was held at

Taipei』s Freedom Square, attracting up to 1000 people.

This is the largest 『6.4』 memorial in Taiwan recently.

Wang attended the candlelight vigil and gave a speech.

On June 4, HK Alliance (HKA) held a candlelight vigil in

Victoria park as usual. The theme: “Don』t forget the 22nd

anniversary of June 4 and the 100th anniversary of

the Revolution of 1911.” About 150,000 people attended

the vigil. Many of them came from mainland China.

HKA Chairman Lee Cheukyan: “(CCP) is turning

next generation into brainwashed dictatorship supporters.

Future battles will be between memory and forgetting,

truth and blank, and dictatorship and democracy.

The Alliance will fight till the end.

As the German “Daily” said, China』s political climate

has never been so close to that of June 4, 1989.

The CCP will one day plea guilty for its 『6.4』 massacre.

Any outdated regime will eventually be phased out.
