被扔垃圾場25年！《大白鯊》修復回歸博物館

【新唐人亞太台 2020 年 12 月 04 日訊】1975年的電影《大白鯊》，是許多人心中的經典。當年電影使用的4隻機械大白鯊，只有一隻倖存，後來卻被好萊塢扔進垃圾場25年。可喜的是，洛杉磯新成立的奧斯卡電影博物館，已經將大白鯊修復，在11月將它迎進新家。

導演史蒂芬．史匹柏1975年經典代表作、獲得奧斯卡多項大獎的《大白鯊》，開啟好萊塢驚悚新時代。不過，電影中唯一倖存的鯊魚道具，後來被扔進垃圾場，逐漸被遺忘。但好消息是，這條當年被取名為布魯斯(Bruce the Shark)的機器大白鯊，最終在洛杉磯新成立的奧斯卡電影博物館(Academy Museum of Motion Pictures)裡，找到歸宿。

《大白鯊》警長：「你得找艘更大的船。」

11月23日，重544公斤、高7.6公尺的布魯斯，正式入住博物館。博物館拆除兩面窗戶，用起重機將它吊掛進來，懸掛在三樓的高處。

當年劇組總共做了4條鯊魚，前3條用乳膠和橡膠製成，已經腐爛損毀，布魯斯是第4條，以玻璃纖維製作，也被用來拍照。電影殺青後，布魯斯被放在環球影城展覽，後來有更逼真的鯊魚取代它的位置，布魯斯因此被棄置在阿德倫兄弟(Adlen Brothers )汽車拆卸公司的垃圾場，一待就是25年。

2016年，拆卸公司老闆阿德倫(Nathan Adlen)將布魯斯捐贈給了奧斯卡電影博物館。博物館請來特效化妝師為它整理門面，將116顆牙齒全部修復，希望明年4月開幕時，布魯斯能大放異彩，重現霸氣。

Bruce the Shark' model from movie 'Jaws' installed at Academy Museum

The only surviving shark model cast for the 1975 Oscar-winning film "Jaws" found its final home at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. The museum unpacked and installed the 544 kilograms, 7.6 meters model shark, nicknamed "Bruce the Shark" on November 23.

This model was the fourth and final model derived from the original mold. The first three models, cast in latex and rubber, rotted and were destroyed. Universal Studios Hollywood had the fourth cast in fiberglass. The fiberglass model eventually ended up in a junkyard where it would spend 25 years before the museum acquired it in 2016 and hired a special effects and make-up artist to restore the shark.
