“This Thing Called CCP”

People』s Daily, the mouthpiece of CCP

(Chinese Communist Party), said most students

in colleges are willing to join the CCP.

Overseas scholars criticize the false reporting.

College students in China claim they join CCP

only to get government jobs, not for believing in it.

Ruling for over 60 years, the communist party

leads China into serious crisis. Inflation is rising,

corruption flourishes, large protests spring up.

CCP spends more on stability than on military.

People』s Daily reported on a survey

of 25,000 college students in 15 provinces,

showing 79.2% are willing to join the CCP,

and 89.6% are optimistic about CCP』s governance.

Sun Guangwen, retired professor from Shandong,

said the survey results are not truthful.

Sun: “The Ministry of Education did the survey.

Students know this is an official survey

and their responses will be known by the college,

as well as their political advisers.

So they only say positive things. This is fake. “

People』s Daily quoted CCP』s organization data,

showing 2.97 million new members in 2009,

of which 1.18 million were students.

The Daily said students were attracted to Marxism.

A college junior who just joined the CCP said

to VOA radio that he does not believe in Marxism.

The college student: “People around me all see

that the CCP is the one-party that rules.

To find jobs, pass the civil service tests,

all can benefit from joining this thing called CCP.

I did not think much when I joined the CCP.

This is just practical, so I could find a good job. “

Social Security minister Yin Weimin said

at the CCP』s two meetings earlier, that

14 million college students need jobs this year.

Jobs are tight and civil service is the top choice.

Professor Sun said communism is passé in China.

The CCP uses civil service jobs to entice students

to lose their bearing in basic values.

The young generation is materialistic and is ready

to exchange their souls for money and power.

Sun: “This has bad effects on college students.

They do not like CCP, but they lie to find jobs.

The CCP』s policies corrupt these students,

and the effect on the society is significant as well.”

As the CCP seduces students to join the party,

a document on the CCP』s true nature,

“Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party”

spreads widely on campuses. Many students

use software to circumvent CCP』s blockade

and resign from CCP on the overseas website.

A students from Chongqing: “Our college』s

party committee works for the CCP.

They ask us not to read the 『Nine Commentaries.』

But many read it; I read it and I quit the CCP.

I also advised two fellow students to do the same.”

Some do not take party membership seriously.

They join the CCP for the practical gains,

and many do not pay the membership dues.

Yang Jingduan, physician and psychiatrist, said:

“When you join the party organizations,

you swear to devote your life to them.

When the CCP collapses or goes to hell,

you are implicated as its member.

So quitting the party is not a superficial matter,

since the heaven is watching. It is meaningful

even if you quit the CCP using pseudonyms.”

On the overseas Quit-the-CCP (Tuidang) website,

97 million Chinese have left the Communist Party,

Youth League, and Young Pioneers.

Yi Rong from the global Tuidang center said

the Chinese people are abandoning the CCP.

She hopes more will join the spiritual awakening.
